What's involved in screen printing? The following are are steps that one must go through to restore any radio panel.
Scan Panel into computer.
With Appropriate software, clean up and size a pattern or panel layout to duplicate the original panel stencil as close as possible even improving clarity from original.
LOTS OF TRIAL & ERROR With new pattern (Artwork) over original panel to make sure everything is where its supposed to be.
AND DON'T FORGET THE SECOND HALF THAT IS A DIFFERENT COLOR . Such as the rest of the logo, etc. From this the finished artwork pattern(s) are printed (ALL POSITIVE NOT NEGATIVES) ready to go to screen printing room.

So the first thing that is done is scrub down and degrease new screens. Artwork is taped to bottom side of treated screen and put into exposure machine where vacuum pump evacuates all air from top of screen and under air tight flexible lid. Then ultra violet light exposes screen with pattern.
Screen is then removed and washed over with pressure water wash and then dried.
If everything looks good and any light pin holes are fixed, we move to screen print room. Here special epoxy ink is prepared and panels are "indexed" on a "monster".
